Redbone Hunt:

Southern National Redbone Championship on Feb 16, 17, & 18, 2012 at Cedar Grove, NC.

National Redbone Days on July 5, 6, & 7, 2012 at Brazil, IN.

 


 

GUIDELINES FOR ALL SPECIAL TROPHIES GIVEN BY NRCA


(General for All Hunts)

1. Owner and co-owner or handler must be a paid up to date member before hunt or show. Must show card or proof of membership.
2. Must have plus points to win any trophy.
3. Cast winner with plus points is first.
4. If no cast winner then dog with most plus points.
5. A dog that is withdrawn or scratched for any reason receives 400 minus points.


(Zone Hunts)

1. Nite Hunt Zone winners are picked from any division of the UKC Nite Hunt.
2. If two Nite Hunts the high scoring Redbone of either night (All Red or UKC).
3. First and second highest scoring dog (of either nite if a two nite hunt) are eligible to compete at Zone finals at National Redbone Days.
4. Bench Show Zone winners — Judge is to pick top two Champions and top two Grand Champions to show along with Best Male of Breed and Best Female of Breed for 1st and 2nd place winners. 1st and 2nd place winners may both be of the same sex or 1 of each.
5. Both winners are eligible to compete at National Redbone Days.


(National Redbone Days)

1. Must be a member before first night of hunt for overall high scoring dog of hunt.
2. Dog must hunt at least two of the three nights.
3. Dog with the most cast wins with plus points is first.
4. If no cast wins then dog with most plus points is first.
5. Zone casts and Sr. Citizen cast to be a part of and be placed accordingly in the All Red Hunt.


(High Scoring Redbone for Other Breed Days)

1. If two UKC Nite Hunts then high scoring Redbone of either night.


(World Hunts)

1. Redbone finishing highest in hunt is first.
2. If no dog placing then most cast wins with plus points is first.

UKC WORLD HUNT AND SHOW SPECIAL AWARDS

The owner of a UKC registered Redbone coonhound will be awarded $3,000.00 for winning 1st place at the UKC World Hunt. $1,000.00 will be added to this award each year until $5,000.00 is reached, then this amount will be capped.
The winner of the UKC World Bench Show shall be awarded $1,000.00 with $500.00 added each year and capped at $2,000.00.
To be eligible for either of these awards the owner and co-owners must be paid up members of NRCA before the UKC confirmation date.


Once the money is awarded it goes back to the original amount.
