Duties of Chairman
of the Board of Directors of National Redbone Coonhound
Association
1. Attend all
business meetings of the association.
2. Assist the President and Vice President and be prepared
to preside over any meeting in the absence of the President
and Vice President.
3. Be the contact and voice of the Board of Directors.
4. Should assign time and place for all Board of Directors
meetings.
5. Be a good will ambassador for N.R.C.A. at all coon
hunting events.
Duties of
Directors of National Redbone Coonhound Association
1. Be present
at all business meetings.
2. Make themselves familiar with all of the association
business and be prepared to help make business decisions in
the best interest of the association.
3. Be prepared and willing to work on committees to improve
the association.
4. Be a good will ambassador for N.R.C.A. at all coon
hunting events.
5. Encourage responsible clubs to host sectional hunts and
the annual Red-bone Day events.
Duties of
Trustees of National Redbone Coonhound Association
1. Attend all
business meetings.
2. Audit the association records and financial statements.
3. Assist the officers and Directors with the association
business.
4. Be a good will ambassador for N.R.C.A. at all hunting
events.
Duties of President of
National Redbone Coonhound Association
1. Attend
all business meetings of the association.
2. Preside
over all business meetings.
3. Maintain
order at all meetings.
4. Appoint
committees to conduct association business.
5. Be
available at the annual Redbone Day Event for consultation and
to make decisions.
6. Be the
contact and voice of the association.
Duties of Vice-President
of National Redbone Coonhound Association
1. Attend
all business meetings of the association.
2. Assist
the President.
3. Be
familiar with all the association business.
4. Be
prepared to preside over any meeting in the absence of the
president.
5. Take part
and work with all appointed committees.
6. Be a good
will ambassador for N.R.C.A. at all coonhunting events.
Duties of Secretary-Treasurer of National
Redbone Coonhound Association
1. Attend all business meetings.
2. Responsible for bookkeeping and secretarial duties for the
association.
a. Minutes of business meetings.
b. Any correspondence pertaining to meetings, hunts, etc.
c. Membership file.
d. Reports to association President. e, Reports to Board of
Directors.
f. Reports to membership.
g. Handles all bulk mailing.
h. Compile and maintain records of hunts and shows.
i. Provide hunt and show results to publications.
3. Responsible for securing and providing
necessary forms.
a. Taxes
b. Hunt permits
c. Hunt contracts.
d. Voting ballots.
e. Other forms necessary to conduct the association business.
4. Compile and maintain financial records.
a. Give financial report at the
business meeting.
5. Be a good will ambassador for N.R.C.A.
at all coon hunting events.

1. Organize all National
Zone Hunts:
a. Contact clubs that
previously had successful zone hunts.
b. Contact
association members in those areas where hunts are needed and
try to generate interest in sponsoring these hunts.
2. Should provide host
clubs holding these hunts with necessary contracts and hunt result
forms.
3. Should collect results
of these hunts and distribute them to National Club Secretary,
magazine column writers and Redbook committee.
4. Make a full report
including numerical and financial success of zone hunts at National
Redbone Association general meeting.
5. Should seek qualified
locations for the annual Redbone Days Event and encourage these
clubs to present a written bid at the annual Directors Meeting.
Duties of the Single
Registration Chairman
of the National Redbone
Coonhound Association
1. The Single
Registration Chairman is the N.R.C.A. contact for single
registration.
2. When contacted for
single registration of a hound, will furnish the appli¬cation with
all the necessary information and forms for the application.
3. Will assign an N.R.C.A.
inspector in the applicant's area (preferably within 50 miles) to
inspect the hound in looks and ability.
4. Upon receiving the
completed application and inspectors report, should check to see if
all information is completed and correct.
5. If everything is in
order and application is acceptable, should stamp with N.R.C.A.
stamp, sign and send to U.K.C.
6. Handle advertising as
directed by the Board and notify column writers.
1. Obtain bid(s) and select printer, in the best interest of the
N.R.C.A.
a. Best to get bids for less number of pages than the previous book,
as it is easier to add pages to books. Printers will not reduce
price if book needs fewer pages.
2. Board decides price of ads.
3. Zones to get a full page with four pictures.
4. Sectionals get one-half page with two pictures.
5. Redbone Hunters and Breeders of America pages to always be
included.
6. Full page ads have a limit of two pictures — one-half page ad
have a limit of one picture
7. Set up ads in book as you want them to appear.
8. Get all information to printers on time.
9. When books are finished, get books ready for mailing (by bulk
rate) if books are not sent by printer.
10. Redbook editor sets up saving account when money comes in and
pays expenses from that account. Can call upon treasurer until
monies start coming in.
11. Give itemized statement to Secretary/Treasurer along with any
monies left when book is completed to cover any expense that may
have accrued.
12. Co-operate with Secretary for items needed for book, such as
labels, reports, membership list, etc.
13. Redbook editor reports to the President.
